So I write


Voices in your head
Hear the whispers in your head
Upon their sacred ground you tread
Seeing the fear in your eyes, I proclaim
The waste of your blood is a shame
For better should it have been mine
At least I would have better used the time
You worry to much my dear friend
The things that I took have only been lent
Do not scream so bitterly loud
Else they might find out
The secret you have been keeping
Would surely have them weeping
Don’t worry I’ll never tell
At least, if you lend me your mortal shell
Then you can be one of us, a spirit in your tongue
I see you doubt me; my tricks will prove you wrong
Look, to the left, that man over there
See him twitch in fright and Glare
Would you not like to really know
What in his mind does vex him so
Reach his mind and find his thought
Know that your attempt to stop me has been for naught
While your attention has whisked away your presence
I stole your living flesh with my essence
Your foolishness has cost you all
Mark my warning, never heed the voices call

I was lost on her lips
Whose scarlet shine I adore
In her eyes I drowned
Those pools of deepest joy
But then the image was gone
Leaving me in despair
Weeping for what I had lost
Like a fleeting dream she was
Darting in and out my life
Never would I lose as much
As what I had lost today
I keep losing everything I cherish
My heart, my soul, my love
And soon I’l lose her memory to

Emotions
Do we live truly?
Or is it merely Illusion, a bleak joke
The whispers tell me we are unreal
We are but dreams to the sleeper
Whose thoughts we can’t fathom
Our emotions must be real, I know
For what drives us otherwise
The touch of joy, The bliss of love
The lust for power, the factor of greed
All are more real then us
We can only truly live if we see them all
Therefore we live and enjoy
The fruits of these emotions
Life is not the question, life is the answer

To war!
Blade meets blade, axe meets shield
For honour and Glory we battle
The thundering of hoofs on frost
Lightning streaks across the sky
Our battle cry freezes their blood
Under the banner of death we gather
The spirit of battle longs to be free
Let it be done, break the seal
We go to war and bring conquest
Only the ashes of our enemies remain
Let the rivers run red with blood
Today we will perish on the field
We ride to meet our destiny
Our death was foretold, Glory to us!

The poems of the heart are not to sully with
Never read them unless so asked
For they hold the writers emotions and thoughts
Compressed into words and syllables
Should you however choose t not heed me
If the writer finds out, you will lower his trust
Not knowing if you did read that sentence or thought
Keeping him or her in paranoia
There might be secrets chained in the writings
Never meant to see the light of day
Or eldritch magicks not meant for others
And maybe even gouts of insanity
Spilled from his twisted thoughts

Love’s delusion
I need a name for the pain that drives me insane
To see the white wine spill on her blood red lips
A graceful movement through her hair
Making my blood pump at a faster pace
Her skin is fair as marble, almost like the pristine moon
Eyes like jade which melt my heart
But it saddens my soul to know she is not real
The virulent poison that is my mind created this torment
Forever haunting me in my memories and thoughts
In my dreams she is there, dancing an endless dance
This dream I live is the stuff of nightmares
She is a myth I have to believe in
She is my unattainable, my glass rose
If only she was real, then my dreams would grow better
But why would such perfection then fall in love with me?
This is my eternal torment, knowing that I will be forever without her
And if by luck or chance she does exist
In this world or the next I will find her
But it shall never be,
The gods mock me, and so do I
My life is agony without her
An empty void between the living
Damned to eternal fantasy
Of what might and might not be

Commentaar: Meh kinda good, was fun to write one of the better (lies!)


Problems of mine
I am a fool a desperate lunatic
Dreaming of a princess never to come
Forever shall my thoughts be crimson stained
My insanity is the first barrier to cross
Twisted and turning before your minds eye
Then comes the morbidly sick and heretical
The drinking of blood is a matter most pleasing
Longing for the lady mine who drinks my blood so gently fine
My interest in the arcane has left me deranged
Never shall my lips touch hers
Read my words and heed my warning well
Living a dark life is the way to love-less hell
Wanting to dance forevermore with her
Under the white moon of my dreams
Delicate and rare as a black rose
Is the lady who would dance with me
Bringing me hope of the sweetest purity
Before leaving me in crushing despair
Truly my only friends are the insanity
And the voices that haunt me evermore
Buried I books and nowhere to go
Despised by the world, only liked by a few
Should I change my precious course to suit the world
Or enjoy my tainted self and discard this notion

King of nothing
I salute you king of the damned
Your empire in ruins
And your subjects lost
Can you not see the thunder
Or the blood raining down
You are to busy in your head
Where dark dreams enrol for you
Dead is your mind
To long have you been here
The chains in your throne rusted from the murky waters
Your empty eyes see horrors
And your maggot stained heart is dark
Royal regalia lost in the ages
With your never-ending grin
I swore to slaughter those that threatened you
And their heads decorate your throne
Invisible in a pyramid of skulls
Where is your wisdom
The stainless steel I wield
Has never been broken
And still you sit there
Complacent on your black throne
To feed of lost souls
My servitude ends here
Leaving you to your end

Comments: This was entertaining to write, kind felt like writing about something else then broken hearts and lost hope, kinda good no?

Angelic dreams
My angel dressed in purest black
Her wings darkened the stars
For in this black pit of despair, I wait for her return
She who’s eyes melt my soul
Lost in thought with a bleakend stare
Her memory petrifies me
Never had such beauty graced me with her presence
Forever longing to see her again
My mind should shatter, if I ever I would lose
This precious gift of love, forever entwined with my heart
And thus the darkness clouds my soul
Forever sorrow in my thoughts
The beating of my heart for everything she spoke
I wished forever darkness under her wings
Now she has left me, losing my dark dreams of glory
The light is now dimming, the candles put out
Strangling me to oblivion and pain
After devotion comes the wreck of apathy
Save me from the thoughtless voices
Let me find safety in your heart

Devoured by despair
Here the hearts entwined
Here they stood for eternity
Lost was my soul to the lady in black
The price was known, the bargain paid
For love eternal shall we live
As the flames engulfed me and the shadow loomed
My thoughts of her kept me alive
To kneel was to suffer and die
She bowed her head and succumbed
Eternal torture now awaits
The brazen gates have opened to let them in
We stand ready, the last points of sanity
Blade engulfed in blood of me
Death is only for the worthy
An abyss of lost hope opens before me
Falling through my despair, I heard her voice
With gaping mouths and razor teeth
We were devoured, and rose again
Minds of steel, hearts of fire and soul of brimstone
Putting love to the torch
The beacons of sadness came and we kneeled
Now we wait until the flame of love is rekindled
My heart encased in the ice of despair, will only melt for she who steals it

The army of the fallen
From the darkness we have come
Shambling for our glory
Nevermore shall we be seen
As when we made our dying scream
From beyond the gates of Tartarus
And the Spawning pits of hell
Shadows of our former selves
We swore to you allegiance
We return to honour our pact
Glory to the fallen
Crumbling shields and ancient swords have served our purpose well
Where once flesh was is now our bones
Marching from our darkened tombs
Their seals have now been broken
Rising from the ashes, as spirits if we must
Our forms shall serve where once we stood in life
None shall take this pass and none shall take the keep
Spread the word of the army of the fallen

The feelings were bound
In that jaded garden

The holy ones came and offered succour

Dying wish
Dead bodies everywhere
Grim roses that I care
Following the fateful path
Trying not to tempt his wrath
You want me to be a good son
Why do you make me feel like no one
Insults fall like rain on my face
I lose my temper and fall in disgrace
My life is now terror and abomination
My sanity is my lasts souls ration

Coming down from northern lands
Frosted armour crimson hands
Masters of the brazen gates
Behind our nemesis waits
We have come for the glory

Enter the chamber, down goes the dagger
Blood on the floor, screaming in chorus

The screaming stops, the eye closes
Chanting his unholy name, spasming the soul
I just feel like this today
The inscriptions stained with blood, an eye for an eye
Ancient bottled wine, chains locked to the table
But I never really cared
Torches thrown, corpse’s burn
Eyeless eyes look back at me, you are next
So we go along with the knife
Eldritch visions, sanity lost
Cold steel in your guts, mocking laughter
And we hope for the better

The horsemen
From behind tartarian gates
And the fiery pits of hell
Charging forth to end this world
Which has lingered for to long
There is no army that can stop us
Conquering this tainted world
The first is war
Dressed in blood red armour and skulls from his belt
His fiery steed is a demon of blood
Then in the wake of war comes famine
Whose hands reduce the feedstock
And rides on spirits of hunger
Famine leads pestilence by the hand
Whose gaunt and skeletal form festers foul
Rotten and sickened to the core
The last is death
Whose scythe flashes to claim them all
his funerary wrappings forever dark
Worrying not what they cause
The dread lords of the end times
Whose image strike fear in all
These are the last days mortal
Use them well, before your soul is judged

Summoning the elder
Dim the lights
Turn the days into nights
Killing of your solar pleasures, we bring you now our will
Which is to burn and conquer and possibly to kill
Whenever your foolish race is ready for its death
We will send a messenger, whose body is stained red
Never will your mortal race, fathom our dark goals
To steal away your shining otherworldly souls
Your pagan rites have summoned us into this world
Leading you of your righteous ways, who have now curled
Nevermore shall we be tainted by your gods of light
Whose forms we have robbed of their divine sight
For deep in the twisting forests they are kept
Much to the dismay of mortals, who thousand tears have wept
From our vaults we have been drawn
In their icy depths for centuries we yawn
Smitten with delight, we mourn your forms
For in our eyes you are merely more then worms
This place and its unholy geometry
IT helped melt the chains and set us free

Lord Shadowrender, heed our simple prayers
You who has brought thousand worlds to darkness
Bringer of darkness, Master of ghouls
He who lives on sanity’s edge, in a pristine black tower
Your eyes grow bright with witchfire, thinking of the slaughter
Baron of undeath, keeper of the shards
Wrapped in shadowy trappings so light can never touch you
The scythe, soul-eater at your side, drenched in blood of thousands
You are the dark fear of death in the minds of younger races
Who shake at your presence and fall to your feet
Loved by the children of the night, who offer you their souls

Wielding ancient eldritch magic’s, whose powers drain life

To the dark lady which he swore his unlife to
A black rose is the symbol, the power and the key
For should it be destroyed, the world would be set free
Free of the master of death and madness, who rules their dark dreams
But the rose is unreachable and untakeable
Kept near the heart of his great love, who remains eternally undeceitfull

With cheerful grin and playful ways
The jester spends his sun-filled days
But behind this mask of cheerfulness
Lie thoughts that are a mess
His laughter is a hollow lie
For in the night the jesters cry
Weeping for his wasted life
In madness he would gladly dive
To find release from false joy
And not be an expensive toy
Only kept for entertainment of little brats
Oh, how he hates those foul rats
His dreams trapped behind his bright red nose
Letting people mock him, it is gross
How deep he did sink for these idiots

The lady moonwhisper, whose eyes are like light
Her bleak stare touches my heart
She is the one I long to be united with
Cradling me in her arms I fall asleep
To wake into the night of entropy
Where her face is obscured by darkness
For years I will wait and cry
Then at the last moment of agony I will fall
And be caught in her hidden face
By her unearthly grace and love
I will be her lycanthrope forever
Always changing and forever the same, for her
So does the wicked rose grow on unholy soil

We will be nothing but food for the gods
Their immense hunger only satiated by oblivion
Tumbling before their infernal eyes

Rivers
First there is the mountain
The mountain passes into the forest
The forest harbours a river
The river descends into the sea
When we are born we grow into a strong mountain
The mountain nourishes the forest
As we do our children, Our progeny
We nourish them with our knowledge
Which flows like a river
This river of knowledge goes to the sea
So is our knowledge absorbed by the whole
And as our knowledge reaches the sea, so do we
Lost in the collective, there ends our life

These are our homes, our lives
Under the light of stars we seek
We wander your sacred places
Your disdain is noticeable

The solitude it offers is bliss

If only you could see our side
The darkness is not to fear
It is merely an escape, not to be seen

I was looking for my bunny
Its cage was empty, funny
Im certain I locked the door well
I tried o ring his dinner bell

No bunny came to lunch
Normally he would run to munch
I looked around the whole garden
I even asked the gate warden

Mommy didn’t know where he was
Maybe if I put down a water glass
Then I asked my dad who was busy in the shed
He said not to go in there; maybe he would come to my bed?

In the morning we looked all over the place
But of my bunny, not a trace
Dad said don’t worry, if your sweet
He said in a funny tone, you’ll get a treat

It was almost my birthday
Bunny was lost 2 days, I wait and pray
We looked everywhere except the shed
He couldn’t be there, dad said
But if I was sweet
Dad said he would give me a treat

At my birthday I couldn’t really eat
I would think of bunny and my heart would bleed
But then dad said “look its bunny”
I froze and dad thought it funny
Bunny was under a silver platter
Cut into to 3, such was the splatter

My dad laughed, heres your treat

I cried and I screamed and ran up the stair
My dad was a monster, It wasn’t fair

The next day my fathers wasn’t in his bed
I told mom not to look in the shed

The smoke of her burial caught me unaware
